SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros win their series against the San Francisco State Gators after splitting the final doubleheader.
Game One
In the opening game of the doubleheader, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros came out swinging against the San Francisco State Gators.
Mariah Ramirez wasted no time making her mark with a clutch single up the middle in the first inning, driving in
Alexis Aguado for an early lead. The Toros continued to apply pressure in the following innings, with
Kaylee Hull's timely double down the first-base line adding another run to their tally. Ramirez showcased her offensive potency once again in the third inning, delivering a powerful double to right-center field, further extending the Toros' advantage. Although the Gators managed to put up a couple of runs in the sixth inning, the Toros' early lead proved insurmountable as they secured a convincing 6-2 victory.
Game Two
In the second game of the doubleheader, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros found themselves locked in a tense battle against the resilient San Francisco State Gators. Ramirez once again set the tone for the Toros with a well-placed double to right field in the first inning, driving in Aguado to take an early lead. The Toros' offense continued to produce with Hull's single up the middle, further bolstering their advantage. However, the Gators fought back fiercely, tying the game at 2-2 with key hits in the third inning. Despite the Toros' best efforts, the Gators capitalized on opportunities in the later innings, securing a narrow 5-2 victory.

th as they take on Concordia University Irvine for a doubleheader starting at 12pm.
