HAYWARD, Calif- In a high-scoring baseball doubleheader, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros split the series with Cal State East Bay.
Game 1

Early in the game, the Pioneers jumped to a significant lead with a flurry of runs in the first innings, capitalizing on a mix of solid hits and strategic plays. Despite the early deficit, the Toros began to rally in the second inning when
Grant Decatrel ignited the comeback spirit with a powerful double down the left field line, bringing in
Trey Winget for their first run.
As the game progressed, the Toros continued to find opportunities to score. In the fourth inning,
Trey Winget, seizing a crucial at-bat, managed to drive in
Anthony Accordino with a sharp single to shortstop, showing the fighting spirit of the team. But the deficit would be too much for the Toros to overcome, as they fell 2-14 in the series opener.
Game 2
