LOS ANGELES, Calif. – In a high-scoring affair, No. 4 seed Cal State Dominguez Hills fell to the No. 5 seed Central Washington with a final score of 90-110 in the First Round of the NCAA West Region Tournament.

The game, characterized by its fast pace and offensive fireworks, saw the Toros trying to keep up with Central Washington's formidable outside scoring, particularly in the first half where they trailed 61-36 and the Wildcats shot 70 percent from beyond the arch.

Despite a stronger second-half performance in which the Toros outscored their opponents 54-49, the deficit from the first half proved too substantial to overcome.

DJ Guest was another significant contributor, scoring 14 points on an efficient 6-7 shooting, alongside 6 rebounds and an assist. His performance inside, coupled with his defensive efforts, helped keep the Toros competitive throughout the game.
