ARCATA, Calif.- In a closely contested game, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros fell to Cal Poly Humboldt with a final score of 72-66.
The lost drops the Toros' record to 13-14 overall and 10-11 in CCAA play, while Cal Poly Humboldt moves to 12-13 overall and 10-11 in conference play.
The game was evenly matched in the opening quarter, with both teams scoring 18 points. However, the Lumberjacks gradually pulled ahead, outscoring the Toros in the subsequent quarters until a spirited fourth-quarter rally by CSUDH narrowed the gap.

Despite the Toros' efforts to mount a comeback, scoring 24 points in the final quarter, their push was not enough to overcome the deficit created in the middle halves of the game.

Nala Williams, playing for 36 minutes, was a force on the court, scoring 27 points on 10-22 shooting, including a notable 4-7 from the three-point line. Her performance was complemented by three rebounds, an assist, and two steals.

Asia Jordan, notching a full 40 minutes on the court, delivered another remarkable double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds, seven of which came on the offensive end. Her ability to convert at the free-throw line (7-9) and dish out nine assists, alongside three blocks, showcased her versatility and leadership on both ends of the floor.
