HAYWARD, Calif.— The top-seeded Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros moved one step closer to the CCAA title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Cal State LA in the tournament semifinals on Friday at Pioneer Stadium.

The decisive moment came in the 7th minute when Peredia converted a perfectly placed pass from
Ramiro Rosas, firing a low shot past Cal State LA goalkeeper for his second goal of the season. The Toros continued to press offensively, tallying 12 shots, with Mikey McKibbin and
Logan Kaufman creating multiple chances throughout the match.
