CARSON- The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros outlast Chico State to continue their winning streak to four games in a row.
They now are 6-5 in CCAA competition and 9-8 overall, Chico State sits at 7-4 in CCAA play and 11-6 overall. With this four game streak it helped move the Toros from being in seventh place in CCAA standing to being tied for third. 
The Toros would start the game off strong shooting 44% from the field and would have a 20-14 lead after the first. The Wildcats would fight back to gain the lead in the second quarter upping their offensive pressure, shooting 55% from the field and capturing a 32-30 lead going into half. 
The second half of the game was tightly contested with both teams having nine ties and six lead changes. The Wildcats would hold onto a one point lead of 48-47 going into the final quarter of the game. The teams would battle the whole afternoon, with no team having a lead bigger than nine points. Toros would lead the Wildcats in three point efficiency, shooting 42.9 % and holding Chico State to 27.3% on the afternoon. The Wildcats would cut the Toros lead to 
Another Toro would have a career night with Malia Goldsmith scoring 18 points and making 5 field goals. This comes a game after Nala Williams had a career night with 31 points during their game against Cal Poly Humboldt this past Thursday. 
Malia Goldsmith would have a career day scoring for the Toros with 18 points. She would have an efficient afternoon shooting 5-9 from the field, and 3-4 from the three point line. 
Coming off her career high night Nala Williams would contribute 13 points for the Toros shooting 5-11 from the field, she would also add 11 rebounds. 
Having her own efficient shooting day Asia Jordan would be 6-6 from the field scoring 12 points and grabbing eight rebounds. 
Amaya Snowden would have 10 points, three rebounds, and three blocks for the afternoon.
