ROHNERT PARK, Calif. — Cal State Dominguez Hills' Toros claimed a dominant victory, overpowering the Academy of Art Urban Knights in three consecutive sets: 26-24, 25-19, and 25-16.
 
In a nail-biting first set, the Toros just managed to edge past the Urban Knights with a score of 26-24. The set featured intense rallies and strategic play, setting the tone for the rest of the match. The narrow win seemed to bolster the Toros' confidence, evident in the following sets.
 
The second set saw the Toros taking control early on and maintaining their lead. Despite spirited efforts from Art U, the Toros closed the set at 25-19. Riding the momentum into the third set, the Toros dominated, allowing Academy of Art just 16 points before sealing their victory at 25-16.

The Toros' 
Ava Hurry led the charge with an impressive 10 kills out of 33 attempts, contributing 12.5 points to the team's tally. She was closely followed by 
Teagan Irish, who recorded 8 kills and a staggering .533 hitting percentage, adding 11 points for the team.
 
Camila Sanchez-Tellez was another standout, contributing 8 kills and 9 points. On the defensive end, 
Bailey Fuches made her mark with 12 digs and played a crucial role in setting up her teammates, boasting 23 assists.
CSUDH closes the Seawolves/Penguin Classic in Rohnert Park tomorrow at they take on Dominican University at 10am.
