CARSON — The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros, stood strong in a thrilling match against the No. 2 Cal State LA Golden Eagles, ultimately concluding with a well-earned 1-1 draw.
The Golden Eagles hit the back of the net first with a goal at 33:38. The Toros evened the score when
Jhoel Sarraude produced a penalty kick goal at 72:29, after contributing five shot attempts, with two on target.
Sarraude's efforts were complemented by
Martin Velasquez's significant presence in the midfield, leading five impactful shots with two on target and contributing to the field for 85 minutes. The steadfastness of
