SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills initiated their season with a match against Dominican University, resulting in a 2-0 loss.
In their debut fixture of the season, the Toros travelled to San Rafael to challenge the Penguins. The defensive line consisting of

Anahi Corrales, and
Emma Arkus exhibited remarkable resilience, holding off Dominican's advances for the majority of the first half. However, Dominican broke through in the 31st minute, netting the opening goal. The game's fate was sealed when Dominican found the net again in the 75th minute.
