ARCATA, Calif. - In a hard-fought battle, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros narrowly lost to Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks, and goalkeeper Kylie Yuzon secured a career high saves.
 
Kylie Yuzon  anchored the Toros' defense with a stellar performance in goal, making 11 critical saves over the course of the match. Yuzon's agility and shot-stopping ability were instrumental in keeping her team in contention throughout the full 90 minutes of play.
 
Cynthia Ramirez was a driving force in the Toros' midfield, showcasing her effort with three shots, two of which were on target.
 
In the forward line, Alyssa Villalobos recorded one shot on goal. Lauryn Bailey also attempted one shot in 76 minutes of play.
 
The Toros continue their trip in northern California as they take on the Sonoma State Seawolves this Sunday at a new location of Santa Rosa Junior College with kickoff set for 11:30am.
