SAN BERNARDINO – The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over the Cal State San Bernardino Yotes, thanks to an early strike by
Nick Walker.
Walker's goal, a precise shot to the low right corner, came at the 16-minute mark, setting the tone for the rest of the game. This early lead provided the Toros with the momentum they needed to fend off the Yotes challenges throughout the match.
Adding to the Toros' commendable performance was their goalkeeper,
Arturo Magaña. Playing the full 90 minutes, Magana was pivotal in keeping a clean sheet, making two crucial saves to deny CSUSB any chance of finding the back of the net.
The Toros next match is this Sunday, October 15
th against Cal Poly Pomona at 5pm. This match will be played on Dignity Health Sports Park Field 3.
