SAN FRANCISCO – Danyell Booker, who had already made an appearance in the CCAA Championship as a member of the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team, got to experience another conference gathering in track & field as the freshman became the Toros' lone representative at the CCAA Track & Field Championships Saturday.
 
In the shot put, Booker threw as far as 11.70 meters to finish eighth in the event. Her second best distance was 11.65 meters, which was her sixth and final attempt.
 
The winner of the event, Cal Poly Pomona's Ana Tovi 13.79 meters.
