ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills track & field team saw two Toros compete on the second day of the University of New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
 
Kassandra Vollegas took part of the women's shot put, tossing 6.12 meters while Tia Parrish ran the 60-meter dash qualifier. She ran an 8.64 time.
 
The Toros will make the long trek to Allendale, Michigan, on the outskirts of Grand Rapids, to participate in Grand Valley State's two-day Big Meet Friday and Saturday.
