SAN BERNARDINO – The Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team couldn't find any sort of moment to keep up with No. 15 Cal State San Bernardino, which cruised in three sets (11-25, 17-25, 14-25) at The Den Friday evening.
 
While the Toros (4-16, 2-11 CCAA) hit .049 on the night, their best performance up front was in the second set, when they recorded 12 kills and committed six errors for a 16.2 hitting percentage.
 
Jesi Diekmann finished the day with six kills overall, Samaya Royal had five and Darien Mann had four. Mya Tillman was credited for nine assists, Angelina Cabal had eight.
 
The Yotes (16-4, 10-3 CCAA), meanwhile, hit .312 the entire match but kept the attack above 30 percent in the first two games. Savannah Hoffman recorded 10 kills to lead the team.
 
Dominguez Hills continues its local road trip Saturday, visiting No. 17 Cal Poly Pomona, which was swept by No. 24 Cal State LA tonight. First serve is at 5 p.m.
