CHICO -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team gave up a goal in the 31st minute as the Toros were shutout by Chico State Friday evening.
The Toros fall to 1-11-4 overall and 1-6-2 in the CCAA while the 'Cats (8-3-4, 5-2-2 CCAA), keeps pace with first-place Sonoma and Stanislaus State, which is tied with Chico for second place, in the conference standings.
Dominguez Hills only took three shots tonight, all were off target. Chico meanwhile, made 22 total shots, and had to make
Alyssa Newsom make 10 saves throughout the evening.
The Toros head to Arcata to play at Cal Poly Humboldt Sunday. Kickoff is at 11:30 a.m.
