Toros Wrap Up Home Schedule Celebrating 2021 Senior Class

CARSON – After celebrating the 2020 Senior Class Friday night, the Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team gave the 2021 seniors their turn Saturday night as the Toros concluded the home schedule with a three-set loss (22-25, 10-25, 19-25) to San Francisco State.

The Toros presented gifts to Renee Wheeler, Nicole Peery, Cecilia White, Brittania Chan and team manager Angel Samaya as they made their final appearance in the Torodome.

Jenna Sandall led the effort on the attack, recording 10 of the Toros' 30 kills. Although she came up a kill short from a triple-double in Friday's match, Bailey Fuches had another double-double performance, recording 14 assists and a dozen digs.

The Toros will conclude the season on the road to Northern California, stopping at Humboldt State Friday at 5 p.m. and then Sonoma State for the finale Saturday at 3 p.m. Both can be watched on the CCAA Network.
