Box Score 2 ST. GEORGE, Utah - The Cal State Dominguez Hills softball team moved to 4-0 in the Dixie State Courtyard Classic with two wins, Friday at Canyons Softball Complex. The Toros defeated Colorado Mesa 5-4 in eight innings and Montana State Billings 4-2.

The Toros move to 7-2 overall with the two wins.

CSUDH 5, CMU 4 (8 inn.)
The Toros got their second walk-off win in as many days, defeating Colorado Mesa 5-4 in eight innings. Down by two runs, CSUDH scored two in the bottom of the seventh and got the game-winning run in the eighth to end the contest.

The Toros got on the scoreboard first as junior
Raquel Jaime hit a single, took second on freshman
Kaylee Hull's ground out and came home on junior
Jade Loe's RBI base hit in the third inning. The Mavericks evened the score in the fifth with a solo bomb. The Toros responded in the bottom of the sixth as Jaime drew a walk and took second on a sacrifice bunt from junior
Chloe Wenger. Loe came up clutch once again with a RBI knock to get Jaime in to take a one-run lead.

CMU grabbed the momentum in the top of the seventh with a three-run shot for a 4-2 advantage. Down to its last out with the bases loaded, the Toros evened the score as senior
Jessica Lane scored on a passed ball and senior
Chenoa Au tied the game on a wild pitch.

With international tiebreaker rule in effect, Loe was placed on second in the bottom of the eighth and scored the game-winning run on Bravo's base hit to the outfield.

Sophomore
Ashley Wies got the start and threw the first 5 innings, giving up one run and striking out five. Junior
Alyssa Olague threw the final three inning, earned the win to move to 5-1 and struck out two.

CSUDH 4, MSUB 2
Olague (6-1) threw her fifth complete game of the year, tossing all seven innings and striking out a career-high 15 batters with no walks as CSUDH took down Montana State Billings 4-2.

With the game even at 1-1 in the top of the sixth, Loe hit a two-run bomb to give the Toros a 3-1 lead. CSUDH added an insurance run in the top of the seventh, before MSUB got a run of its own in the bottom of the frame to account for the final score of the game. Â
