CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team opened the 2019 season with a difficult 4-0 defeat against PacWest Conference favorites and nationally-ranked 11
th Azusa Pacific on a humid Thursday evening at Toro Stadium.
It was a match dominated by the Cougars, who outshot the Toros 20-5. APU scored the first goal in the 15
th minute and the rest of the goals came midway through the second half.
The only shot on goal for the Toros came in the 10

Brady O'Neill took a shot to the bottom center but was saved by keeper Brendan Fix.
Dominguez Hills continues its battle against PacWest foes as it welcomes Point Loma to campus Saturday. The match, slated for a 7 p.m. opening kick, will be held at the
Dignity Health Sports Park Field #3. Admission will be free.
