Portland, Ore. - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team fell on the road to Concordia (Ore.) in a non-conference matchup by a final score of 2-1, Thursday at Hilken Community Stadium.

The Toros drop to 1-2-1. The Cavaliers improve to 2-3.

CSUDH fell behind early, as CU scored in the third minute. The Toros trailed 1-0 at halftime with the two teams even on shots, 4-4.

The Cavaliers extended the lead to 2-0 in the 52nd minute on a CSUDH own goal.
The Toros were able to cut the deficit to one, 2-1, in the 67th minute. Junior
Holly Kaemerle dribbled up the right side and sent a cross to senior
Alyssa Dunphy waiting on the other side of the post for a tap-in. It was Dunphy's team-leading second goal of the season. CSUDH had four more shots from there, but could not find the equalizer.

The Toros will stay on the Pacific Northwest road trip and take on Western Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11:30 a.m.
