CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team got its first win of the season, taking down Fresno Pacific in a non-conference matchup by a final score of 1-0, Friday at Toro Stadium.
The Toros are now 1-1-1. The Sunbirds are winless at 0-3.
The game was scoreless until the 101st minute. Sophomore

Madeleine Simones who collected the ball and hit a right-footed shot into over the FPU goalkeeper Briggitta Eggertsdottir's outstretched hands and into the back of the net.
The two teams were even 18-18 on shots. The Toros had six shots on-goal in the second half of regulation and first period of overtime, but could not come away with the game-winning score until the second overtime period.
