TURLOCK - The Cal State Dominguez Hills softball team concluded the Tournament of Champions, presented by the City of Turlock and hosted by Stanislaus State, with a 10-4 loss to Western Oregon, Sunday at Warrior Softball Field.

The Toros drop to 20-14 overall. The Wolves improve to 18-9.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Toros scored two in the bottom of the first with RBI from freshmen
Ashley Wies and
Kelly Monroy.
- The Wolves recorded five runs in the top of the second to take a 5-2 lead. CSUDH responded with a sacrifice fly from Monroy in the bottom of the third to make it a two-run game. WOU added four runs in the fourth to increase the margin to six runs.
- The Toros were able to get one run back in the fifth on a RBI single from Wies. The Wolves got one run in the top of the sixth for some insurance and closed out the game.

After a bye week, the Toros will host Cal State East Bay for a four-game series against Cal State East Bay, Friday and Saturday, April 12-13.
