WHAT HAPPENED?
- It appeared to be a pitching duel between
Jesse Villalobos and Ethan McRae for the first four innings. But Villalobos pitched into trouble in the fifth in which resulted a five-run inning.
- The Toros couldn't find an offensive rhythm at all. The only chance they had in scoring a run was in the third when Estrada and Gomez were at third and second, respectively, after reaching on base hits.
UP NEXT?
The Toros return to Pioneer Field for the second time in three weeks, only this time to play against the actual host Cal State East Bay. The series begins Friday at 3 p.m.
