CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team fell to Cal State East Bay by a final score of 62-58 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Saturday at the Torodome. The Toros drop to 12-10 overall and 8-8 in conference play. The Pioneers improve to 11-12 overall and 8-9 in the CCAA.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- CSUDH looked to be in control for much of the first half, leading 16-11 at the end of the first and 33-25 at halftime. Junior Ahlisha Henderson
- The Toros took their largest lead, 41-30, on senior Zhane Carter's 3-pointer midway through the third quarter. CSUDH had a four-point led, 47-43, going into the final quarter.
- CSUEB started the fourth quarter on an 11-1 run to take a 54-48 lead with seven minutes remaining.
- The Toros came back and evened the score 56-56 with one minute remaining, but the Pioneers made two layups and two free throws down the stretch to prevail.
 
TORO NOTES
- CSUDH's six-game winning streak was snapped.
- Ahlisha Henderson recorded her eighth double-double of the season.
- The Toros outrebounded the Pioneers 56-41, including 19-8 on the offensive glass.
