LA JOLLA - The Cal State Dominguez Hills softball team was swept in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) doubleheader against 23rd-ranked UC San Diego by scores of 4-2 and 3-1, respectively, Friday at Triton Softball Field. The Toros drop to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The Tritons improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the CCAA.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Chenoa Au hit a line drive double to left field to open the game. She was brought home on an RBI single by freshman Amanda Canizlaes as the Toros grabbed a 1-0 advantage.
- The Tritons scored one in the bottom of the second to tie and two in the third for a 3-1 advantage. CSUDH could only muster two hits after the first inning and fell by two runs.
