CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team had control for majority of the game and defeated Cal State Monterey Bay by a final score of 70-48 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Thursday at the Torodome. The Toros improve to 12-9 overall and 8-7 in the CCAA. The Otters remain winless at 0-20 and 0-16 in conference play.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- CSUDH took an 11-point lead in the middle of the first quarter before the Otters closed it to 18-12 at the end of 10 minutes of play.
- The Toros extended their advantage to 14 points at halftime, 37-23.
Zhane Carter led the team at the intermission with 15 points.
- CSUMB made up some ground in the third period and made it a 10-point game, 48-38, at the end of the quarter. It would be the closest the Otters would get as CSUDH ultimately prevailed by 22 points.
