CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills baseball team combined for 14 hits but couldn't overcome a hot No. 16 Cal Poly Pomona as the Broncos swept the Toros in doubleheader action, 7-0 in game one and 17-3 in game two, under cold and on-and-off rainy conditions at Toro Field Sunday.
The Broncos sweep the four-game series to open California Collegiate Athletic Association season. The Toros fall to 1-4 overall.
