Morrow's 25 Points Not Enough in Loss to San Marcos

CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team faced a difficult setback after falling 76-64 to Cal State San Marcos Saturday afternoon.

The defeat puts the Toros at 12-12 overall, but more importantly 8-10 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The Toros are still in the hunt for a CCAA playoff berth but have only four games remaining. They entered the day in a three-way tie for seventh in the CCAA standings with San Francisco State and Sonoma State. Despite the loss, the Toros did get help from Cal State East Bay beating the Seawolves and Cal State Monterey Bay getting its first win of the season over the Gators.
