Robert Roosen scored three goals as Cal State Dominguez Hills took down Cal State East Bay by a final score of 4-0 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) men's soccer matchup, Friday at Pioneer Stadium.

The Toros (5-7-1, 3-4 CCAA) scored three times in the first half, all within a span of a little under six and half minutes. In the 38th minute, freshman
Cesar Rivera found Roosen for the first goal of the game. CSUDH scored its second goal in the 40th minute from junior
Bryan Rodriguez and went up 3-0 in the 44th minute with another score from Roosen.

The Toros put the cherry on top in the 87th minute as senior
George Almeida assisted Roosen to complete the hat trick.

Eddie Soto. "I was very pleased to see the weeks of work come together in this match."

In total, CSUDH outshot CSUEB (2-12, 0-8 CCAA) 18-10 overall, including 11-6 on shots on-goal. Freshman
Bryan Shihad made his first start at goalkeeper and accumulated six saves and recorded his first shutout.
Roberto Rivera,
Jose Soto and Shihad played all 90 minutes. With his three goal performance, Roosen now has four career goals as a Toro.

CSUDH will have a day off before continuing its Northern California road trip with a stop at Cal State Monterey Bay for a clash on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 11:30 a.m.
