Toros Drop 1-0 Decision at Cal State East Bay

HAYWARD - The Cal State Dominguez Hills fell to Cal State East Bay by a final score of 1-0 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) women's soccer matchup, Friday at Pioneer Stadium.
 
The Toros (4-7-2, 2-4-1 CCAA) held an 18-6 shot advantage overall, including 6-4 on shots on-goal. CSUDH outshot the Pioneers (5-5-3, 4-2-1 CCAA) 13-2 in the second half.
 
Sara Kattainen, Sofia Litendahl, Madeleine Simones, Haley McDevitt and Kekoa Nelson played all 90 minutes. Alyssa Newsom and Jessica Neighbors split time in the net for the Toros. 
 
CSUDH will stay in Northern California and face Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. for its next matchup.
