ROHNERT PARK - The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball team did not give up a point in the final two minutes of the contest and took down Sonoma State by a final score of 76-69 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Thursday night at The Wolves' Den. The Toros improve to 10-8 overall and 8-5 in conference play. The Seawolves drop to 7-12 overall and 5-9 in the CCAA.

Mikey Hatfield evened the score, 69-69, on a free throw with 1:25 remaining. The Toros forced a Seawolf turnover and freshman
Alex Garcia nailed a 3-pointer coming out of a timeout with 53 ticks on the clock. CSUDH came away with multiple defensive stops down the stretch and made the necessary free throws to put away the game.
- The Toros started strong going 5-for-8 from the field and claimed a 13-2 advantage five minutes into the contest. CSUDH grabbed its biggest lead of the game, 35-22, with 2:32 left in the first half on junior
Wonder Smith's jump shot. The Seawolves responded and made it a five-point game at halftime, 36-31.
- Sonoma State kept chipping away at the margin and finally tie it up 51-51 with 9:37 remaining. The two teams would go back-and-forth the rest of the way as the score was even six more times.
