CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team fell to Cal Poly Pomona by a final score of 68-57 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Thursday at the Torodome. The Toros drop to 7-9 overall and 3-7 in conference play. The Broncos improve to 13-2 overall and 9-1 in the CCAA.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Toros started slow and trailed Cal Poly Pomona 21-10 after the opening frame.
- The Broncos grabbed their biggest lead in the first half, 28-12, after a successful and-one. From there, CSUDH went on a 14-7 run to close the second quarter and cut the margin to single digits, 35-26, at halftime.
Ahlisha Henderson already had a double-double at halftime with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
- CPP kept its foot on the pedal in the second half and grabbed its biggest advantage of the game, 56-33, with 9:21 remaining in the contest.
- The Toros answered back with a 23-12 run, capped off by a layup from
Jasmine Phoolka to make it a 10-point game with a little over one minute remaining. It would be the closest CSUDH would get as the Broncos ultimately prevailed by 11 points.
