CHICO - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team fell to Chico State on the road by a final score of 78-54, in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Thursday at Acker Gymnasium.

The Toros are now on a three-game skid; They drop to 7-7 overall and 3-5 in conference play. The Wildcats improve to 8-4 overall and 5-4 in the CCAA.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Toros got off to a slow start offensively and trailed Chico State 16-6 at the end of 10 minutes.
- CSUDH had a much better second quarter, putting away 16 points. The Toros trailed 40-22 at halftime with Morrow leading the way with six points.
- The Wildcats kept the offensive onslaught in the second half and grabbed their biggest lead by 35 points, 68-33, with 9:20 remaining in the half.
- The Toros woke up and outscored Chico State 21-10 the rest of the way. The Wildcats ended up prevailing by 24 points.
