CSUDH Draws With Colorado Christian on Kaemerle Eqaulizer

CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team tied with Colorado Christian by a final score of 1-1 in a non-conference matchup, Friday at Toro Stadium. The Toros are now 0-2-1 after the result. The Cougars are now 1-0-2.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute with a goal from Amanda Lopez.
- CSUDH trailed 1-0 at halftime with a 5-4 shot advantage.
- Holly Kaemerle and Madeleine Simones had back-to-back shots on goal in the 68th minute.
- In the 69th minute, Simones found Kaemerle inside the box. Kaemerle drilled a shot with her right foot into the lower left corner of the goal for the equalizer.
- The two teams were deadlocked at the end of regulation, 1-1.
- Sofia Litendahl stopped a score with a defensive save in the 93rd minute.
- CSUDH had two shots on goal in overtime, but could not find the back of the net.

- Holly Kaemerle scored her first goal of the season.
- Madeleine Simones earned her first assist in her CSUDH debut.
