- The youngest of three siblings, Yesenia, Jimmy and Guillermo
- Was an Honor Roll student in the eighth grade
- Served as a goalkeeper trainer, cleaned schools and fed the elderly as part of community service
- Chose CSUDH for the diversity and environment
- Was also recruited by the Citadel, CSU Northridge and Wisconsin
- Cited winning the CIF title and winning numerous CIF, league and team awards
- Athletic goal is to win a national championship
- Favorite sports team is the Dodgers
