CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team earned its first win of the year with a 2-0 shutout victory over Humboldt State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Sunday at Toro stadium. The Toros improve to 1-4-2 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play. The Lumberjacks drop to 3-4-1 overall and 1-3 in the CCAA.

Holly Kaemerle took on Humboldt State's defenders by herself, dribbling 30 yards up the middle to the left side and found the upper right corner.
-CSUDH was able to endure six HSU shots in the second half and hung on to win.
