CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team came up short in winning the first two games as Cal State Monterey Bay swept the Toros (21-25, 22-25, 16-25) at the Torodome Saturday evening.
The Toros fall to 5-7 overall and 0-4 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- It was a rough evening for the Toros, who hit .102 on the attack while combining for 42 different errors. The Otters, meanwhile, where no different, posting a .119 attack percentage while being guilty for 29 total errors.
- Dominguez Hills' best performance came in the third game, when they hit .357 while recording a set-low three errors.
- It was a nail-bitter for a majority of the second set. Neither team led by three points throughout the game but it was the Otters who scored the final three points to win 25-22.
