SAN DIEGO - Despite holding a 14-8 shot advantage, the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team fell in non-conference action to Point Loma by a score of 2-1, Saturday at PLNU Soccer Field. The Toros are now 0-2 overall. The Sealions start the season 1-0.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- PLNU took the lead early, in the eighth minute, as a cross from Andrew Kleszewski on the right side found the feet of Paul Sweet and into the back post.
- CSUDH evened the score, 1-1, as junior defender Bashiri Smith knocked in senior forward Manuel Paez's cross.
- The Sealions took the lead for good as Sweet netted his second goal of the game in the 83rd minute.  
 
TORO NOTES
- CSUDH outshot PLNU 14-8. The Toros held a 5-4 shot advantage in the first half and 9-4 in the final 45 minutes.
- Manuel Paez got his second assist in as many games.
- The two teams were even on fouls 14-14.
