AZUSA - The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team opened up the 2018 season with a 4-2 non-conference loss to Azusa Pacific, Thursday night at Cougar Soccer Complex.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- Neither team scored in the first 45 minutes with APU holding a 4-2 advantage in shots at halftime.
- The Cougars scored two goals in the first six minutes of the second half.
- CSUDH got within one score as senior midfielder Stefan Skrinjaric, from the left side, found the head of junior midfielder JD Hauenstein for the goal in the 61st minute.
- APU responded with two scores to build a 4-1 advantage with less than 20 minutes remaining.
- Sophomore midfielder Darren Tahbaz found the back of the net in the 82nd minute from sophomore defender Diego Galaviz's cross.
