Game One - CSUDH 3, CSUMB 0
Senior pitcher Alyssa Valinches threw a complete-game shutout and junior catcher Rachael Sandoval drove in three runs to lead the Toros to a 3-0 win over the Otters to open the four-game series. The other Toro run came from senior designated player Kayla Lock.

CSUDH scored in the first as Lane tripled and was brought home by a Sandoval single. With Lock on first and Lane on second in the bottom of the third, Sandoval hit into a fielder's choice. Lock was called out at second as Lane rounded third and touched home. Consecutive doubles by Lock and Sandoval scored the third run of the game for the Toros in the fifth.
