Â
The Toros got an insurance run that they would need in the fourth on a Beaver wild pitch. After MSU put three runs away in the top of the fifth and sixth, CSUDH punched back with seven in the bottom of the sixth with RBI coming from Sandoval,
Chloe Wenger, Pintado and Guzman.
Â
The Beavers tried to mount a comeback, but were only able to get one across in the top of the seventh as CSUDH prevailed.

Catcher
Renee Galindo went 2-for-2 and homered twice to lead CSUDH to an 11-0 win over Fort Lewis in five innings.

Â
The Toros got things going in the first with five runs. Telles singled and scored on Sandoval's RBI hit down the left field line. Messersmith then hit one through the left side before Galindo blasted a three-run home run. Lane tripled in the next at bat and Wenger brought her home to make it 5-0.
Â
Galindo homered in the bottom of the third. RBI from Pintado and Simon stretched the margin to 8-0. Three more insurance runs in the fourth accounted for the final score as the Toros cruised to their second win of the day.
