CARSON - Behind a 50-point second half, the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team defeated Fresno Pacific by a final score of 87-70 in a non-conference matchup, Friday night at the Torodome. With the win, CSUDH improves to 5-2 overall. FPU drops to 6-3.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Toros came out of the gates strong and led 21-11 at the end of the first 10 minutes.
Destinee Williams led the way in the first quarter with six points.
- The Sunbirds cut the margin to three in the second period, 28-25, but CSUDH responded and took a six-point advantage into halftime, 37-31.

Nautica Morrow came alive in the third and scored 16 of the Toros' 26 points in the period. CSUDH led by 10 points, 63-53, with one quarter remaining.
- CSUDH kept its foot on the gas pedal in the fourth and outscored the Sunbirds 24-17 in the period. The Toros grabbed their biggest lead, 87-68, on a 3-pointer by
Jessica Spencer and ultimately prevailed by 17 points.
