CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team fell to Sonoma State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup by a final score of 71-64, Saturday at the Torodome. The Toros drop to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Seawolves improve to 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the CCAA.

- Both teams went back-and-forth in the first quarter, with the Toros coming on top after 10 minutes, 19-18. CSUDH had balance scoring as

- SSU started to pull away in the second period as the Toros trailed 42-33 at halftime.
- The Seawolves kept the onslaught going in the third and stretched the margin to 15 points, 56-41, with 3:02 left in the quarter.
- From there, CSUDH went on a 14-3 run that went into the fourth period and cut the gap to four points, 59-55.
- It would be the closest the Toros would get as the Seawolves prevailed by seven points. Â
