Gabriel Hicks made the tie-breaking free throw with 40 seconds left and
Isaiah Morris added two more on the line as the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball team edged Simon Fraser, 67-64, at UC San Diego's RIMAC Arena Saturday.
It is the first win of the season for the Toros.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- After leading 36-33 at halftime, Dominguez Hills got off to a promising start with a
Mikey Hatfield layup and a 3-pointer from Hicks within the first minute of the second half to build an 8-point lead, the largest in the game.
- Neither team led by more than five within the final eight minutes.
- The Toros shot 39 percent from the field, including seven from 3-point range.
- The rebounding category belonged to the Clan, who had a 40-34 advantage.
- In addition to his seven-rebound night, Hatfield also blocked three shots.
