WHAT HAPPENED?
- It was another good night on the attack for Dominguez Hills, which hit .310 while committing only 14 errors. Sonoma State was on the wrong end of those numbers with a .164 and 24 attack errors.
- Despite hitting .286 in the first game, the Toros were edged in the first game by the Seawolves on a three-point rally that gave the home team a 23-21 lead en route to the win.
- Duru led the effort in the second-set win, posting five kills and three combined blocks. It was also an 8-2 rally that helped give the Toros a 22-15 lead in the round.
- The Toros had to dig themselves out of a 22-17 deficit in the third game and did so in a big way by scoring six straight points, five with Jordan Ramirez serving, to take the lead.
- Dominguez Hills easily dominated the eventual winning game by building a 10-3 from the start and never looking back. The Toros got another rally by outscoring the Seawolves 11-3 to take a 22-8 lead. They eventually finished with a 25-11 set win, the largest margin of victory this season.

MATCH NOTES
- Dominguez Hills beats Sonoma for the second consecutive season. The Seawolves still own the all-time series 41-11.
- Tati Yandall earned her first double-double in nearly a month. It is the junior's seventh on the year.
- Jordan Ramirez reached 30-plus in assists for the third time in four matches. She's reached that mark eight times this season.
- Cathryn Lopez, who made 19 digs, came up short again from matching her season high. She has reached 20 on two different occasions this year.
