CARSON - The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team climbed out of a two-goal deficit to draw with No. 8 Cal State LA by a final score of 2-2, Saturday at Toro Stadium. lthough the two teams are members of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the contest goes down a non-conference matchup. CSUDH earns its first draw of the season and is now 4-9-1 overall. CSULA is now 10-1-2 overall.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- CSULA got started early and scored in the sixth minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Golden Eagles outshot CSUDH 6-2 in the first 45 minutes and led 1-0 at halftime.
- CSULA got its second goal in the 50th minute on a penalty kick.
- The Toros cut the margin to one in the 84th minute as
Brian Cooney found the head of Roberto Roosen on a free kick set piece.
- CSUDH got the equalizer approximately five minutes later in the 89th miunute.
D'Morea Alewine's header was saved by CSULA goalie Alexander Brems.
JD Hauenstein was there to collect the rebound and hit it to the left side of the net.
- The Toros had three shots in the two periods of overtime, but settled for the draw.
