Esther Duru combined for 30 kills,
Jordan Ramirez earned 31 assists as the trio got the Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team back to the winning ways with a three-set (25-22, 25-21, 25-19) road win over Humboldt State at Lumberjack Arena Thursday night.
The Toros improve to 6-12 overall and 1-9 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The victory snaps a seven-match losing streak.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- The Toros offense came through on the night, hitting .248. It was not only a conference season-high but its best percentage since the Toros win over San Diego Christian last month. The Lumberjacks, who remain winless in conference play, hit .123 but committed 22 attack errors.
- Although Dominguez Hills would take a commanding lead in the first two games, Humboldt eventually found its way back into the set with rallies. Tied at 22 in the first round, the Toros claimed that set on an attack error and kills from Yandall and Duru.
- The best performance for the Toros came in the third game, as they hit .378 with one error. The Toros had never trailed in the game and used an 8-2 momentum to build a commanding 22-13 lead.
