CARSON -- With the score tied, 1-1, at halftime, the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team could not get a shot off in the second period in a 2-1 loss to No. 10 UC San Diego in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Friday night at Toro Stadium.

The Toros fall to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in conference play. The Tritons stay undefeated in the CCAA at 3-0 and move to 6-2 overall.

The Tritons took the lead in the 22nd minute as Caitlin McCarthy gave a perfect through ball to Mary Reilly. Reilly beat CSUDH goalie
Michelle Tuiaea one-on-one and scored the goal.

The Toros nearly equalized in the 38th minute as
Katrina Cohen's header hit the crossbar and down. The officials ruled that the ball never crossed the goal line.

Moments later, at 39:35, the Toros were gifted the equalizer on a UCSD own goal.
Louise Kallin's cross was misplayed by UCSD's Natalie Saddic and into her own net.

The Tritons came away with the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute. Reilly dribbled through five CSUDH defenders and kicked the ball into the net, all by herself.
