SAN FRANCISCO - Five players from the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team scored in double figures to defeat San Francisco State by a final score of 91-76 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Saturday at The Swamp.

The Toros remain unbeaten in conference play, sit atop the standings with a 4-0 record and matches their league win total from last season. CSUDH improves to 6-3 overall. The Gators drop to 0-3 in the CCAA and 2-4 overall.

Heaven Holmes matched her season-high with 21 points. Dijour Ledbetter, Nautica Morrow and Zhane Carter each had 16 points. Morrow also added five rebounds, seven assists, and eight steals. Taylor Farris recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

CSUDH came out of the gates slow and trailed by seven points, 20-13, at the end of the first 10 minutes. Down 26-20 in the middle of the second quarter, the Toros closed the final five minutes before the intermission on a 14-5 run to lead 34-31 at halftime.

CSUDH started to pull away in the third period, outscoring SFSU 29-17 for a 63-48 advantage. The Toros grabbed their biggest lead, 72-50, after a Carter jumper with 8:14 left in the fourth. The margin would be ultimately insurmountable as CSUDH prevailed by 15 points.

The Toros will have 12 days off before hosting Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m.Â
