Rylee Kiger handed 14 assists and made 13 digs for her sixth double-double of the season,
Claire Autry had eight kills but the Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team suffered a three-set (18-25, 17-25, 18-25) defeat on the road to Cal State San Marcos on Tuesday.
Tati Yandall made seven successful attacks while on the defensive end she made nine digs.
Cathryn Lopez made eight saves and
Hailey Smith had seven.
The Toros (6-8, 2-3 CCAA) couldn't quite stop the Cougars (7-7, 4-2 CCAA) offense as they hit .233 on the night. CSUDH averaged .107 on the attack in the match.
CSUSM's Maddy Newcombe and Courtney Hulla each had a dozen kills while three Cougars reached double figures in the digs column.
CSUDH had never led in the match.
Dominguez Hills returns home this weekend starting with No. 23 Cal State San Bernardino Friday and Cal Poly Pomona Saturday. Both matches are 7 p.m. starts.
