ARCATA -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team allowed a score in the last five minutes of play and fell to Sonoma State by a final decision of 2-1 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup, Sunday at College Creek Field.

The Toros suffer their second loss in conference play and drop to 8-2 in CCAA action and 11-4-1 overall. The Seawolves improve to 7-6-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the conference.

SSU took the lead in the eighth minute with a goal from Eric Alvarado off a corner kick. CSUDH equalized on a corner kick play of their own. In the 52nd minute as
Leonardo Nogueira's inswinger kick from the corner found the head of
Carlos Escobedo and into goal.

With less than five minutes remaining in regulation, TJ Perez lifted the Seawolves with the game-winning goal. Toro goalkeeper
Chase Gentry was able to get a piece of Perez's shot, but the ball rolled past the goal line and into the corner of the net.

CSUDH will close out its season hosting Chico State on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 4:30 p.m. and Stanislaus State on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 11:30 a.m. for Senior Day. Â
